With the fall fast approaching the Kodiak Brown bears are filling up for their long hibernation.
To be able to survive an Alaskan winter it takes a large amount of fat reserve.
Now that the Raspberries are all gone and the Pinks and Chums are just about at their end , the bears are chasing Cohos up and down the stream banks.
We have been catching good bright Cohos trolling in the bay and now is a good time to get your fly rod and make a few casts in the streams.
We offer both opportunities here at Kodiak Adventures Lodge.
A fall trip trolling for Salmon , jigging for Halibut and a little flyfishing as well on Kodiak is a great way to wrap up your fishing season. Contact us to book your trip to Kodiak.
