Halibut fishing on kodiak Island

The summer has been zooming by. With all the fishing and bear viewing I have been slow to blog.

So here is the latest. The Halibut fishing has been very good this year so far. With a most people catching fish bigger then 50 lb. The ladies this year have been  pulling in some nice sizes and in shallow water as well , which makes fishing for these big fish much more enjoyable.
